The training was facilitated by Mr. E. Phani Purna Chandra Rao, an accomplished leadership coach and academic consultant, who delivered the session remotely. With decades of experience in higher education leadership and human capital development, Mr. Rao shared insightful strategies for effective supervision, decision-making, and leadership in an academic environment.

In his address, Mr. Rao stressed the importance of emotional intelligence, communication, and trust-building as essential components of effective leadership. He also highlighted the distinction between management and leadership, and how both roles are vital in guiding teams toward institutional goals. The session included practical models and case studies designed to equip participants with skills for delegation, conflict resolution, and team motivation.

Representing the Human Resources Department, the Head of HR emphasized that faculty leadership is key to maintaining the university’s academic excellence. “Our aim is to build a strong leadership culture among our faculty members—one that supports innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement,” she remarked.
