Human Resources department conducts Faculty Development Program on Time Management and Productivity

The Human Resources Department of Skyline University Nigeria has organized a Faculty Development Program titled “Time Management and Productivity” for the faculty staff of the university. The event took place virtually on 30th June 2025, with participation from academic staff across various departments.

The session was facilitated by Dr. Ramulu B., an experienced academic and productivity coach, who joined the program as the guest speaker via a virtual platform. Dr. Ramulu brought a wealth of expertise, sharing practical insights on how academic professionals can optimize their time, manage tasks efficiently, and increase overall productivity.

In his presentation, Dr. Ramulu emphasized the importance of prioritization, goal setting, and minimizing distractions in today’s demanding academic environment. He also addressed common productivity blockers and shared techniques such as time-blocking, the Eisenhower Matrix, and the Pomodoro Technique, urging participants to apply these tools to balance teaching, research, and administrative duties.

Speaking on behalf of the HR department, the Head of Human Resources reiterated the university’s commitment to continuous professional development. “At Skyline University Nigeria, we believe that effective time management is a key skill for academic excellence. This program is part of our broader strategy to equip our faculty members with relevant skills that translate into better teaching and improved institutional output,” the HR Head stated.

Faculty members expressed appreciation for the session, noting its relevance and the clarity of the tools presented. Many pledged to incorporate the strategies discussed into their daily work routines.
