He has a PhD in Biochemistry, MSc in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta, India. In addition, he also has BSc in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta, India.
He has over 20 years’ of experience in teaching, training, research and administration in India and abroad. Most of his research work were done in Indian premier institutes as well as in Singapore, Sweden (Stockholm) and Taipei. Before joining Skyline University Nigeria, he taught in Jain University, CMR University and other leading colleges under Bangalore University, India. He also worked as Director of R&D and Skill Development Program in India.
He has a multi-disciplinary research interest in Genomics, Transcriptomics, Toxin Biology, Protein Chemistry, Bioinformatics, and Academic/educational Development etc.
He has presented papers in international/local conferences, contributed to many book chapters and published papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has established R&D laboratory and accomplished big research projects in his capacity. Some of his past works has great impact on the snake venom composition among varieties of snakes and correlation between food habit and venom composition. Some of his publication has been published in The Straits Times, Singapore and Deccan Herald, India.
He also regularly writes in peer reviewed journals about the development in Indian education systems. Recently he became a member of The Polymer Institute of Nigeria. He is currently working on couple of books on the influence of scientific events in the society.
