Imminent students of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) are deriving great enjoyment from their participation at the recently held two-days problem-solving competition at SUN IT Hub, using C/C++ Programmeming approach to design and develop marketing tool for displaying the fee structure of the university, Where two groups (100/200 level) out of 10 competing groups, emerged best place.

The facilitator, Dr. Deepak Kalra (a visiting faculty from the sister university, Skyline University College (SUC) Sharjah), at the recently held Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotics workshop at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) urged private secondary schools in Kano Metropolis to be technology-savvy, thoughtful and innovative.

Skyline University Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management are considering the feasibility of a collaboration between the two institutions to develop the capacities of students and other personnel of the university. This was revealed on Wednesday, 11th December 2019, when a 4-man team of the CIPM paid a visit to Skyline University Nigeria, where they unfolded the plan for collaboration and sensitized the management of the institution of the opportunities that abound in the CIPM.

Excitement and hi-fi pervaded the serene ambience of Skyline University Nigeria campus recently, when the returning students with the support of the Students Service Department, planned and executed a party for the fresh students (neophytes) who resumed academic activities for the 2019/2020 session.

The Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Seri Iskandar, Perak, Malaysia is in talk with Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) on collaboration. This was disclosed on Friday 29th November 2019 during a conference call (Skype) featuring the Deputy Vice-chancellor (Academics), Prof. Hilmi B. Muktak of UTP and the Vice-Chancellor of SUN, Prof. Sudhakar Kota with other management members of the two parties.
