Skyline University Nigeria Brings Together School Proprietors from Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa for Leadership Summit 2026.

School proprietors and education leaders from Kano, Kaduna, and Jigawa States gathered at Skyline University Nigeria for the Proprietors Leadership Summit 2026, a one-day programme focused on leadership, artificial intelligence, innovation, and the well-being of education leaders.

Held on 24 August 2026 at the RMK Auditorium, Skyline University Nigeria, Kano, the summit was themed “Leading with Vision, Innovating with AI, Thriving with Balance.” The event provided a platform for school proprietors to exchange ideas, explore emerging trends in education, and discuss practical approaches to leading schools in a rapidly changing environment.

The summit placed particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and its opportunities for schools and educators. Discussions explored how emerging technologies can support teaching, administration, decision-making, and other areas of school management, while helping educational institutions remain relevant in an increasingly digital world.

Leadership was another major focus of the programme. Participants engaged in discussions on the importance of having a clear vision, making effective decisions, embracing innovation, and developing leadership approaches that respond to the changing needs of students and the education sector.

The summit also addressed work-life balance and personal well-being, highlighting the importance of maintaining healthy and sustainable leadership practices. Participants were encouraged to recognise that effective school leadership requires not only professional competence but also personal well-being and the ability to maintain balance.

Designed as an interactive and practical seminar, the programme provided opportunities for participants to engage in discussions, share experiences, and gain ideas that could be applied within their respective schools.

The participation of proprietors from Kano, Kaduna, and Jigawa States also created an avenue for education leaders from different communities to connect, exchange experiences, and build relationships around shared challenges and opportunities in education.

The summit reflects Skyline University Nigeria’s commitment to contributing to the development of the wider education sector by creating platforms where educators, school leaders, and other stakeholders can learn, collaborate, and explore innovative approaches to education.

As technology and society continue to reshape the education landscape, the Proprietors Leadership Summit provided an important opportunity for school leaders to reflect on the future and consider how they can build institutions that are innovative, adaptable, and prepared for the next generation.

Through initiatives such as this, Skyline University Nigeria continues to promote meaningful conversations that extend beyond the university and contribute to the growth of education within the community and beyond.
